La Méchante et le Connard (The Villain and the Jerk) are a Franco-American duo, specializing in fun wedding and event music. Casey Jayne and Cyril spend the year in Sancerre, France, touring the country for concerts, festivals and events, everything from the Cannes Film Festival to local concerts. Each summer, they travel to Newport, Rhode Island, Casey's hometown, playing more festivals and concerts, and of course beautiful New England weddings.
The acoustic duo plays warm and fun music, all with an elegant French touch. The repertoire is a mix of jazz age standards and popular hits, arranged specifically for the instrumentation. La Méchante et le Connard is perfect for cocktails, dinners, and ceremonies, and an excellent choice for openning up the dance floor with pop, rock and dance favorites. Every event is individually catered and the musicians are eager to arrange any special songs for the event.
